A Model School is a project like no other. We're empowering education with the Cardano blockchain protocol.
Here at Musawenkosi Christian Academy, our pilot model school in South Africa, we're developing an innovative approach to enhancing the performance of students, teachers, and the school as a whole. By merging a new technology, Cardano, with our established school here at MCA, we're creating a model school.

At our school, Musawenkosi Christian Academy, formerly Mukhanyo Christian Academy, situated in Kwamhlanga, South Africa, our goal is empowerment. We wish to empower students & teachers alike with the hopes of deepening their own personal and professional development. We are doing this by merging key aspects of the Cardano protocol, Treasury for funding, Incentives for motivating, Identity for reputation, Governance for destiny, with our established school. Through our innovative approach to enhancing the performance of students, teachers, and the school as a whole, we're creating a model school.

Cardano is a decentralized, secure, and scalable blockchain protocol that allows individuals, businesses, and schools like ours to securely and privately send and receive money without the need for a central authority.
At Musawenkosi Christian Academy, we're using Cardano's smart contracts to both strengthen donor to school relationships and incentivize hard work and dedication in learning by implementing systems that recognize and reward exceptional performance. The rewards are deposited directly into students' "Education Fund" or teachers' "Futures Fund" accounts.
